Our Board of Directors

Our governance is comprised of a majority of persons with disabilities who are all volunteers. Included are Members at Large, Provincial Representatives from each province where a Member Centre is located, and a Youth Representative from our Youth Advisory Committee.

Recent Face to Face Meeting in Toronto:

On May 21st and 22nd, the IL Canada Board gathered in Toronto for an in-person board meeting. These face to face meetings are so vital in building the connectivity that really bonds our efforts together. While packed with business, we were so happy to enjoy a lobster dinner together – it was lovely!

Day 1 of the event held some fantastic Board Governance Essentials training, provided to us by Don McCreesh

Day 2 of the event was our regularly scheduled Board meeting.

With many topics of discussion, and new ideas and opinions: IL Canada is in very good hands. We can't wait to share with you what we have coming up in the future.
