Our Perspective is Independent Living Canada's official newsletter, published throughout the year to keep our Member Centres, partners, stakeholders, and the broader disability community informed about the work, people, and initiatives shaping the Independent Living movement across Canada.
Each edition highlights the stories, achievements, and collaborations that demonstrate the impact of Independent Living in communities from coast to coast. Readers can expect updates on national projects, Member Centre activities, advocacy efforts, partnerships, events, research, governance, and the voices of people with disabilities who continue to advance the Independent Living philosophy.
As IL Canada celebrates 40 Years and Onward, Our Perspective also serves as a historical record of our growing national network while looking ahead to the future of accessibility, inclusion, self-determination, peer support, and full community participation.
Whether you're a Member Centre, community partner, policymaker, person with a disability, or simply interested in the Independent Living movement, Our Perspective offers a window into the work happening across Canada's national Independent Living network.
