Our National Executive Director Returns

We are very happy to share that Freda Uwa has returned as our National Executive Director, starting October 20, 2025.

Freda took some time away from the role for personal reasons and is now back, continuing her strong leadership of the Independent Living (IL) Movement. She will keep working with our Board of Directors, Member Centres, and people with disabilities across Canada to make sure IL's voice stays strong and united.
