In Memory of Pierre Hamelin

Pierre Hamelin - 1965–2026

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Pierre Hamelin, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 60.

Pierre served on our Board of Directors for two years and he was passionate about his role on the Board.

Pierre had a wonderful way of bringing a smile to your face and could always be counted on to share a great story. His warmth, humour, and genuine care for others made him a pleasure to work with and a valued member of our community. He leaves behind many fond memories and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Pierre's wife, Chantal, his children, Jessica, Steve, and Kelly, his extended family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

Pierre, thank you for your service, your stories, and the smiles you brought to so many. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 31, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the chapel of LeSieur and Brother Funeral Complex, 95 Saint-Luc Boulevard, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Pierre's memory may make a donation to the Véro & Louis Foundation.
